The story of Nokia come back to market
During 1990’s to 2000 the most popular brand name was Nokia. Like apple today Nokia too had a major share of mobile market. Nokia was known for their super quality, long battery life and best service. I still remember the first company to launch camera phone in India was Nokia. But what happen in such a short duration of time that they lost everything they had.
Launch of iPhone
Before the launch of iPhone there was Nokia all around. But as soon as apple launched their touch interference phones they caught the market very soon. To compete with apple Nokia too launched their touch phones and due to their market value it sold too But it didn’t added any value to life of people. As these two companies were competing in market. Google launched their Android operating system and kept it open source so everyone could use it. That means any manufacturing company can use android operating system without paying a single penny too google. Mobile industry is a fast evolving market and those who don’t change with time will fail for sure.
Not ready to innovate
According to research At the android was taking control over market. Nokia tried to do something but there was no one in the board of company who could think of something unique. At that time Nokia used 5 billion dollars on their research and development team but was in vain. That was 30% of total mobile industry revenue. Qualcomm company whose chips are used in many big smartphones. They said that they went to Nokia with a superb plan. But they spent 6-9 months in discussing about it. They refused to accept Android operating system. At that time they refused android by saying that to accept Android is like pissing in one own pant.
Hiring of a new CEO
In 2010 Nokia hired their new CEO Stephen Elop. He worked in Macromedia which was later bought by Adobe and then he worked in Microsoft. He stoped making those were taking company to loses. Every started worrying for their jobs. No one dared to challenge his decision. He made a partnership with Microsoft and used their operating system and launched their new phone series Nokia lumia which started with a struggle and ended with a struggle. Most astonishing fact was that if they wanted to use a operating system why not Android. The reason was simple Stephen Elop had it personal benefit. When he made Nokia to use Microsoft operating system. They paid him a handsome amount of money and Later when he made Nokia sold to Microsoft Then he had a contract with Microsoft and He got some shares in it. In short due to its personal benefit he made destroyed Nokia completely.

he first flash sale of Nokia 6 smartphone in China resulted in the phone going out of stock within a minute after it became available on the Chinese e-commerce portal JD.com as reported by Anzhao. However, it unknown as to how many devices were available for purchase in the first flash sale. Some of Nokia ex-employs launched a New company HMD Global. HMD Global is also set for an event at MWC 2017, where it is expected to announce more Nokia smartphones.
The reality is that don’t have a single rupee left. All that left is there name Nokia. I Hope they will regain their position in market.
